About this formulation…
Licorice: traditionally used as an adrenal tonic, anti-inflammatory, to heal gut irritation. Chosen for its use for adrenal depletion and physical stress. It also adds a sweetness to the blend which is simply delicious. Always recommended to try prior to adding honey or sweetener to the tea.
Astragalus: traditionally used as an adaptogen, tonic, antioxidant and immune supporting herb. Often used for debility and fatigue, to support the immune system and treat chronic fatigue.
Siberian ginseng: One of our fave vitality and adaptogenic herbs. Traditionally used for physical stress, fatigue, recovery and to improve mental performance and concentration. Who doesn’t love the sound of that?
Peppermint: is a mild nervine and carminative. Let’s face it, busy people are always rushing around - adding peppermint to this blend may help assist with gut discomfort and nervous system support. It adds a freshness to the earthy tastes of the Astragalus and ginseng.
Brewing Instructions:
2 teasp = 1 serve. Place in strainer.
Add to 1 cup boiled water.
Steep 3-5 minutes. Strain & enjoy. For a stronger effect, steep another 3-5mins.
